Ongoing R&D Projects:

- Textile electrodes (project based on the UTMP);

- Command device for sterile environments;

- Fault-tolerant algorithm for heart-beat detection;

- Diff-RFID;

- Study of self-similarity on bio-signals;

- use of SMS for AAL (SME solution / Patent submitted).

 

Participation in European projects

 

January 2014 – January 2018: COST IC1307 – “The European Network on Integrating Vision and Language (iV&L Net)”, funded by the COST Office through the European Science Foundation and the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme.

2013 – 2017: COST Action IC1303 – “Architectures, Algorithms and Platforms for Enhanced Living Environments (AAPELE)”, funded by the COST Office through the European Science Foundation and starting in 2015, funded by the COST Association through the European Commission Horizon 2020 program; Chair of the COST Action; estimated budget for the four year period, approx. 650K€.

April 2013 – September 2014: COST IC1002 – “Multilingual and Multifaceted Interactive Information Access (MUMIA)”, funded by the COST Office through the European Science Foundation.
